I know that Reiki life energy works, because it has worked for me, and I have seen it work for other people. However, you don’t have to believe in Reiki life energy and it will still work for you. I have met and spoken to a variety of people about Reiki life energy. Some people are ‘open minded’ and they don’t believe in it, but they don’t reject it either. I was like this before I found out for myself that it works. Some people believe in healing, they may have had spiritual healing, or been to someone else for healing. So they believe that Reiki life energy is possible. Some people believe in spiritual events, and come to Reiki from that perspective, and believe that Reiki life energy will work, because they believe in the natural way that life continues, and that energy continues.
There are people, who don’t believe in anyone being able to heal, or in any life energy being able to be received and given by practitioners. But so long as these people are willing to try a session, the energy will work for them. You don’t to believe in Reiki life energy for it to work for you. However, I would say that, it is best not to reject it with your thoughts while you are having a session, or at least, to be in a neutral frame of thinking. So, of course, it is best not to have a session, whilst thinking to yourself, that it won’t work. That won’t help you to relax, and it is best if you simply close your eyes and listen to the background music. The life energy will go to you for your good regardless of any lack of belief in it.
I believe that Reiki works on the biology and chemistry of a person’s body, which includes the chakras. You don’t have to believe in chakras because it doesn’t only work on chakras. So, when people say that Reiki life energy opens the chakras, and balances them, yes, it does, but it doesn’t only do that. I believe it works on the whole of the body, your biology, chemistry, emotions, and spirit. Chakras, have not been proven to exist in the human body, but that doesn’t matter, because Reiki life energy goes anywhere it is needed in the human body. Reiki life energy doesn’t work because of chakras, it works because it is a natural source of healing life energy.
